About the Speaker
Robert Single earned a BS and MS in Geology and spent 25 years in the oil and gas business. He worked for large majors and a variety of independents. As a petroleum geologist, he worked on projects around the world but focused mainly on Utah, Wyoming and Colorado. After separating from Anadarko in 2016, Robert, then 51 years old and having a 2-year old son at home, decided to re-invent himself and completely change careers. He looked at his other passions which included investing in the stock market and helping people understand complex ideas. This led him to Edward Jones where he has been a financial advisor for over three years. Although he sometimes misses the oil business, he enjoys learning what financial goals are most important to his clients, creating personalized investment strategies for them and partnering with them over their lifetime to help them stay on track.
This talk is presented by the Rocky Mountain Members in Transition (MiT), a joint effort of members of AAPG, SPE, WOGA, COGA, DWLS and RMAG.
