About:  The line of TRANSECT traverses approximately 410 miles across Wyoming and is laid out in a general dip direction to cross the major basins and uplifted mountain ranges. The TRANSECT intersects some of the typical oil-field structures and important deep wildcat tests within each basin. The entire TRANSECT and fifteen individual SEGMENTS are provided on two DVDs. All files on DVD ONE contain images that have been compressed utilizing jpeg 2000 compression. DVD two contains copies of the original TRANSECT and SEGMENTS in Tiff format and contains no compression.
