Membership Committee

The main function of the Membership Committee is to create a sense of community for all RMAG members, by actively engaging member’s participation in events, providing networking opportunities and offering mentorship.

The committee meets every other month to plan and organize events that focus less on the technical and more on the social. The aim of this committee is to engage members of all ages. One of the many ways this is done is through the RMAG Mentorship Program, which provides an opportunity for geological students and young professionals to be partnered with an experienced mentor in the geological sciences. Mentors are given the opportunity to share their knowledge and personal experience with mentees who are eager to learn.

This committee always welcomes new members. You will be asked to actively participate in planning and attending events focused on membership. If you are interested in joining, or just have questions please contact our Membership and Events Manager, Hannah Rogers at hrogers@rmag.org or our Executive Director, Barbara Kuzmic at bkuzmic@rmag.org There is also a committee application link below for your convenience.
