The 2014 RMAG/PTTC Geosteering Forum will be an outstanding event! Presentations in this one-day forum will highlight the latest techniques, applications and software being utilized by geoscientists/engineers/geosteerers from companies, academia, and service companies to geosteer horizontal wells. The Forum will provide time for questions and open discussion. Topics include software analysis, downhole tools and techniques, and their usefulness in well planning, stratigraphic interpretation, staying in-zone, identifying hazards, drilling efficiency, and maximizing productivity of horizontal wells. The Forum will include premier and specialized exhibitors ready to show geosteering software, services, and techniques in a personal one-on-one setting with event attendees. The exposure to the experts and service providers in this one day event will be tremendous and not to be missed by anyone involved in horizontal wells. The Geosteering Forum objectives are to examine advanced geosteering techniques and applications in horizontal wells among geoscientists and engineers.
