Continuing Education Committee
Goals:
Provides events that support the mission of RMAG, mindful of current topics of interest and use to RMAG members.
Events (plans and executes):
- January Short-Course, based on a theme of interest to RMAG members
- March - 3-D Seismic Symposium - assistance for coordination with advertising, sponsors, exhibitor
- June - Short Course, based on a theme of interest to RMAG members
- Fall (Sept/Oct.) Symposium, based on a theme of interest to RMAG members
- November Prospect Fair and Technofest
Support of other events, such as the Bi-Annual Colorado Oil & Gas (COGA) Meeting (a combination of industry trade-groups and technical information from RMAG), and Rocky Mountain Section meetings in connection with AAPG.
Reporting:
The committee reports to the Board via the 2nd Vice President, who serves as Board Member and as CE Chairman for the year following the Board term.
