The Rocky Mountain Association of Geologists Foundation will again this year grant an award to a graduate student at The University of Colorado, Boulder. The award's purpose is to support geologic studies in the Rocky Mountains and to reward excellence in geologic achievement. Although the Foundation has given the award for many years, it was underwritten last year through a generous contribution by Dudley and Marion Bolyard, long-time supporters of the department.

Application deadline is March 31, 2013. The recipient, with one other person selected by the recipient, will be guests of the Foundation at a weekday luncheon meeting of the Rocky Mountain Association of Geologists on June 5th, 2013. A short presentation will be made to the recipient during the meeting.
